I have a challenge for you. It's simple, can be implemented immediately and if done consistently it will change your journey for the better. This is not an original thought, rather something I picked up years ago and have tried to make a part of my daily walk.So here we go, ready!?!?! The challenge is to replace the words "HAVE TO" with "GET TO". Let me give you an example or two. "My day is pretty full so I will need to see you when I get back to the office, I HAVE TO go to a lunch today with a client."Sound familiar? If you simply change two words in that sentence, your entire demeanor, attitude and approach to the opportunity changes immediately, you instantly become grateful.Let's try one more."We've got to wrap this up as I need to run home and change because I HAVE TO head to my son's baseball game." Do you HAVE TO go to your son's game? Do you HAVE TO go to lunch today with a client or do you GET TO????It's that simple. Change your HAVE TO for your GET TO and sit back and see what a difference it makes. You'll be thankful for the opportunity rather than burden by it. You'll be grateful that you've been placed in a spot to make a difference and the energy, focus and ability to be present will be a game changer in your daily walk. I'm excited for my day today as I GET TO have lunch with a client and I GET TO watch my son's compete tonight and play a game they love. It's not an easy transition and it will take time to for it to become a habit but it will be worth the simple exercise of being conscious of how we approach the next opportunity. I still make the "HAVE TO" mistake from time to time and I'm surrounded by people that will quickly say, "don't you mean you GET TO"?Make it a great day!

I had the privilege of attending last night's shareholder meeting for Waterford Bank. Oh boy, if I wasn't sure I made the appropriate career choice prior to last night (which I already knew I did) I certainly did by the time I left. As I pulled out of the meeting all I could think about was how grateful I was. Grateful for the Waterford family that has welcomed me with open arms. Grateful for the leadership team at the bank that has a vision, a roadmap and the people in place to execute and deliver. Grateful for the shareholders, not only for their attendance but also for their 17 years worth of stories all tied to this institution. Grateful for a team that shows up each and everyday on behalf of those we serve. I'm grateful. That's it, just very grateful I've been put in this place with these wonderful people. #waterfordbankna#grateful

There is a really cool energy here at Waterford Bank!!! The collaboration is second to none with a group of individuals that come together as a TEAM to serve those we've been entrusted to. Happy New Year!!!! As we turn the page on the year and prepare ourselves for the journey ahead, it's a great time to reflect on where we've been and where we're heading. Fifth Third Bank has been a huge part of my life over the past six years. From the people I've met to the relationships I've built both inside and outside of the office, my time was blessed and full of new milestones and new challenges along the way. Although grateful for my time there, new opportunities have presented themselves and I'm proud to say that I've joined the Private Bank TEAM at Waterford Bank. This is a TEAM of credentialed, talented and highly motivated servant leaders who are making a tremendous impact in the lives of those they serve. From a "white glove" level of service to a planning focus that puts our clients at the forefront of everything we do, joining The Waterford Private Bank TEAM was a natural and seamless fit. Although I truly appreciate the work anniversary well wishes, 2024 is a year for new. New beginnings, new goals, new relationships and new opportunities to make an impact. Wishing you all the best in your "new" for the year, can't wait to see/hear all of the successes you've had.
