i got into my car putting the keys in and cranking my car. i buckled up and got my phone out to play some music before putting the car in reverse and heading off.

i arrived to my destination, the store. i had come here to get a few things for matt to hopefully apologize in a way but also see if i can help him de-stress.i picked up a cute hoodie i thought he would like and a new stuffed animal, it was a cute little fox. i figured it could sit next to his pug if he liked it.
i also chose the fox because they are my favorite animal tbh, anyway, i picked him up some snacks i know he likes and some root beer.
i also grabbed some dr pepper and pepsi for nick and chris since i felt like being nice LMFAO. i headed up to the cash registers, scanned my items and paid.
as i was walking out of the store back to my car i seen a man staring at me so i quickly got in my car and locked it, putting the keys in it and turning it on driving away.
"kinda creepy" i muttered to myself as i asked siri to play some apple music. 'i wanna be yours' by artic monkeys started playing and i sung along quietly.
i always loved music, not sure why i've just held it very close to my heart. after a couple songs i eventually made it back to the sturniolo house hold.
i drove my car into the drive way turning it off and taking the keys out.

"where's y/n?" i asked walking out of my room and into the kitchen where nick was sitting, "not sure, she said she would be right back and she was going to do something" he shrugged and went back to eating his food and watching tiktok i presume.i felt guilty about snapping at her and maybe i was the reason she left, i decided i would just go back into my room and lay down for now.

"thank youuuu" he said happily, "course, where's chris? i got him those pepsi's" i asked still holding the bag with matt's stuff in it.
"probably in his room, i'm sure he'll be down soon and i'll tell him" nick smiled, "alright thank youuu" i said before starting to head to matt's room.
"no problem" he called as i knocked on matt's door. i waited to enter before i heard a muffled "come in" before i softly opened his door to see him with the lights off looking asleep.
"i got you something" i said before flicking his light on and shutting his door behind me as i walked fully into his room.
"oh?" he said as he sat up and rubbed his eyes. "yesss" i said sitting on the end of his bed handing him the bag i was holding.
he pulled out the hoodie i found with a little bear on the front. "awww i love it thank you y/n" he awed and ripped the tag off immediately putting it on over his shirt.
"it's so cute" i smiled once he put it on, i saw him smiled and nod, he opened the bag again and pulled out some chips and other snacks i got him.
"thank you y/n, genuinely" he frowned, "don't thank me kid, you are stressed and i wanna do whatever i can to help you" i smiled.
"i also got you some root beer i put them in the kitchen" i said, his face lit up as he quickly stood from his bed racing to the kitchen.
"thank you thank you" he said as i walked into the kitchen, him already getting one. "of course kid" i laughed.
he opened it and drank almost all of it at once "dang bro, was you thirsty or what?" i laughed, "i was fr, chris drank the last pepsi and i have been out of root beer for like 3 days.
"i have like 3 fr peppers still hidden in my room soooo" nick said looking up from his food and phone. "YOU LITTLE sh*t YOU TOLD ME YOU DIDNT HAVE ANY DRINKS???" matt play yelled at nick.
"yeah I had drinks FOR ME not any drinks for you" nick fake smiled and went back to his phone. "rude as hell" matt rolled his eyes and finished his drink.
"dude what are y'all yelling about" chris says coming from his room, "i got you pepsi" i pointed to the drinks sitting on the counter.
"OOOO YEAH" he said excitedly also getting one. i just giggled at them being goofy. "well it's late and i wanna sleep so i think i'm going to go home" i said putting my phone in my pocket.
"byeeee y/nnnn" nick said side hugging me "bye nick" i smiled, "bye loser" i said to chris, "rude as hell, leave" chris rolled his eyes "whatever" i said trying not to laugh,
"i walk you out to your car if you want?" matt offered, "alright" i smiled slipping my shoes on and making sure i had everything, i mean even if i left something i'd probably be back tomorrow or the next day anyway.
me and matt headed out the front door walking to my car, once i got to my car door i turned around to look at him.
"i'm sorry for snapping at you earlier" he apologizes, "don't be sorry, you were stressed and i was being pushy it's all good" i smiled,
"but you weren't, you were concerned and i just snapped i'm sorry" he apologized again. "matt it's okay" i hugged him.
we stayed like that for a moment as i heard him sigh, i pulled back to look at him for a moment and my mind wanted to kiss him so i did, without even thinking.
i was freaking out on the inside but i'd say i played it pretty chill. he was tense at first but got comfortable immediately, we pulled away after a second to yk, breath because that's a thing us humans need to do, and he was a smiley blushing mess.
to be fair i was too but it was so cute on him, we looked at each other smiling for a moment before he decided he should go inside, "i should probably go but i'll call you if you want when you get home?" he asked smiling,
"course" i smiled back as we hugged a last quick time before he walked inside. i got into my car and put the keys in and started the car as i leaned my head back resting my eyes for a moment reminiscing in what just happened.
i was happy, matt makes me happy. i've always thought i wanted chris and that he would make me happy, but sometimes i'm not always right, and this time i'm glad i wasn't.
because yes i love chris, but not in a relationship way, i love chris like a little brother, but matt, i love matt. and i love matt in a relationship way. and im okay with that.
