Angela Yvonne Davis was born in Birmingham, Alabama on January 26, 1944. She is the daughter of Sallye Bell Davis and Frank Davis. Her siblings are Ben, Reginald, and Fania and they lived in a neighborhood called “Dynamite Hill”. She went to Carrie A. Tuggle School followed by Parker Annex of Parker High School. Davis was with the Girl Scouts of the USA.
